This collection of seven figures are copies of sculptures by Charles d'Orville Pilkington Jackson. The selection held by the Museum pertain to The Black Watch. They are part of a larger collection of figures depicting soldiers from all Scottish Regiments. A more complete collection of the figures is owned by National Museum Scotland, and is on display at The National War Museum at Edinburgh Castle. The various forms of dress depicted are: Private Man in Black Watch Dress; 73rd Field Officer Battalion Company, Levee Dress; Subaltern, Review order, carrying King's Colour, 1913; Officer of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment, Review Order, 1808; 73rd Pioneer, Marching Order; 42nd Regiment Sergeant in Undress Order 1851; Piper from the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment's Light Company, Marching Order, 1815.
